Nick Agar Classes!

UPDATE: The classes are full, and moved to a waitlist

Next month we welcome Nick Agar! He’s coming into town for 3 days for our club demo on April 16th! You’ve may seen Nick headline before at SWAT but this is your chance to see him up close and personal.

Please come a little early and plan to stay a few minutes late to help set up the room and break it back down.

But wait ……………… There’s more! Pat and Clyde have graciously agreed to host Nick and open their shop for 3 days of private classes with Nick !

There is a one day Class  available and a two day Class available. 

I’m going to include here Nicks Bio and information on the classes available -please rsvp as soon as possible because there are limited slots available.  More details will be available after the classes fill up – but these class spots are currently only available to active members whose dues are paid in full.  When RSVP’ing for these classes -please indicate if you would like to attend one or both of the classes.  

The Two day class is Monday April 15th and Tuesday the 16th  – Viking sunset bowl / bronzed bowl or colored and textured bowl

The one day class will be Wednesday the 17th – Goblets and vases

Please allow for time to set up and clean up before and after class.

NICK AGAR has become one of the most sought-after instructors/workshop leaders and seminar presenters on the world woodturning stage. Specializing in surface enhancement and renowned for his wall sculptures, his award-winning work often incorporates carving, airbrushing, ceramic and metal effects. Nick specializes in hollow forms, large diameter work, and surface enhancement. His work has been exhibited around the world and is in the collections of HRH Prince of Wales, Dukes, Duchesses and the Royal Jewelers. He has been featured on BBC and ITV lifestyle television programs. Nick is a member of the Worshipful Company of Turners and has been awarded the Freedom of the City of London in recognition of his services to the world of woodturning. He is a Patron of the Max Carey Woodturning Trust and co-author of the book Woodturning Evolution. Nick is an elected member of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, a Registered Professional Turner and is a member of the AWGB and AAW. He currently lives in Savannah, Georgia where he has set up Nick Agar Studios . A School dedicated to woodturning, carving and surface embellishment .
